Specially for application as Subsea flange connections and Subsea clamps we have PSS Series Bolt Tensioners. These Tensioners are suitable for higher pressure rating flanges also. This is an ergonomic design, which is very easy to handle and use under the harsh sea conditions. This tool is an assembly of two basic parts a Tensioning Unit and Puller.

Features of prime subsea bolt tensioners

• This Complete tool has been made from high strength stainless steel which is suitable in corrosive sea environment and to minimize maintenance.
• These Tools are designed to provide a wide range of flexibility, and cover for stud sizes 3/4” to 3.1/2” (M-20 to M-85)..
• This Tool generates higher load which is suitable for higher pressure rating flanges.
• These tensioners have a 25mm long stroke with indication mark to avoid over stroke limit.
• Tools release high pressure hydraulic oil inwards when over-stroke, so that it save operator from any potential exposure.
• For Multi tensioning applications the provision of two connections ( Manifold) has been done.
• This tool is assembled with Anti Roll, Composite Material seals for longer life and high reliability. These seals have a low coefficient of friction so that the piston can be returned to a closed position with minimal effort.
